On the 14th of February, commonly celebrated as Valentines Day, Connect For, a non-profit volunteering platform that has made volunteer opportunities in India accessible hosted its first offline activity and we joined them for the cause.

Connect For Artshala x Piramal Education Foundation hosted an event to paint the walls, corridors at Veravali Municipal School, Jogeshwari East and celebrate the day of love by beautifying the school walls before the kids come back to school!

OBJECTIVE:-

To Collaborate with the well-established non-profit organization 'Connect for' and support the offline volunteering activity. Being a newly formed Leo club, such Collaborations are crucial in the newbie phase of the club in order to gain contacts and establish a presence in the environment. Collaborations are the source to observe the process and learn through it which will train our members to conduct events in future prospects.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION:-

The event started at 12:30 where connect for members handed out brushes and paints and guidelines were given. Pictures were already there on walls, and one could pick up any drawing they wanted. Our members had a lot of fun going back to colours and brushes like in school days. We learned how volunteering is not just helping others but how it helps you unknowingly.

Number of Leos' Present:- 22

Location:- Jogeshwari, Mumbai
