Introduction:- On 7th March 2020 Leo club of five gardens conducted a menstrual hygiene workshop for young girls in collaboration with the Paddling foundation.

Objective:- Among many taboo topics, Menstruation still ranks all of them even if it's a crucial and common part of every woman out there. Menstruation become a taboo topic when it got associated with impurity in women. There's still a need for awareness and that is why we as a club decided to conduct a menstrual hygiene workshop.

Detailed description:- On 7th March (the day before women's day) we conducted this workshop in Khalsa College, Matunga along with the Paddling foundation. Paddling foundation is a nonprofit organization that works towards educating people about menstruation and breaking the stigma about it!

They have a lot of experience on how to conduct such workshops with different age groups. Our audience was of the age from 12-16, hence they conducted workshops in a fun way by comprehending art ie letting the girls draw and colour!

We all learned a lot from this workshop and we were very pleased to share knowledge with little girls!

At the end of the workshop, we distributed Bio-degradable Sanitary pads to them.
